Why It Matters
FIRST Tech Challenge teams design, build, and program a robot from a bare metal kit to compete head-to-head against other teams — then turn around and pitch their work to judges like an engineering review board. It's part shop class, part startup, part varsity sport.
As a rookie team, we're doing all of it for the first time this year: our first CAD file, our first line of code that actually moved a wheel, our first scouting sheet filled out in the stands at a scrimmage. Every "first" this season is one the team earned themselves.
