Why It Matters
FIRST Tech Challenge teams design, build, and program a robot from scratch and then compete against other teams. We also present our work to judges and compete for awards.
Students use industry standard tools and software to design and manufacture their robot, such as OnShape, Java, and more. They also learn to work as a team, manage a budget, and communicate their ideas effectively.
As a rookie team, we are learning everything as we go. That means this season will have a lot of "firsts" for us!
